In a study of the titration of aqueous extracts from glass containers, it was shown that certain precautions must be observed if reliable results are to be obtained. "Direct" and " back" titrations were made potentiometrically and with a series of indicators to demonstrate the effect of the presence of CO2 and of "flakes."
