Silver () oxide nanoparticles immobilized on different solid supports were employed in catalyzing an aldehyde-amine-alkyne coupling reaction. It was found that the alumina-supported Ag 2 O was the most active catalyst. The scope of the corresponding reaction substrates was extended by virtue of these new catalysts. The feasibility of recycling of the alumina-supported Ag 2 O catalyst was also examined.
