Water-stress is one of the most adversarial environmental constraints limiting wheat growth and productivity. Seed priming is a promising approach to alleviate the adverse effects of water-stress on seed germination and early seedling establishment. In the current study, we evaluated the effectiveness of Glycine-betaine (GB) to improve seed germination and early seedling establishment of Wheat (Cultivar: Jimai-22) under water-stress conditions.
