(±)-(10-2H, 11-2H2, 12-2H3)Jasmonic acid has been synthesized starting from racemic jasmonic acid via 2-formylmethyl-3-methoxycarbonylmethylcyclopentanone by reaction with (1-2H, 2-2H2, 3-2H3)propylidene-triphenylphosphoran followed by sponification of the labelled methyl jasmonate.
