For a number of years we have felt the need of a chart giving the growth expectancy of those breeds of fowls we conduct feeding experiments with. Two years ago we planned such an experiment with Rhode Island Reds. These tests were conducted at one of our Branch Experimental Poultry Farms by one of our trained scientific men. In formulating the rations we were careful to include proper feeds so as to furnish an ample supply of minerals, vitamines, animal food elements, and the proper protein calories. THE RATIONS Three series were run, one with meat scrap as the animal feed, another with digester tankage and the third with milk.
