Glass formation in the ZrF 4 -MF 2 -LaF 3 -NaF (M - Ba, Pb) systems has been studied by differential thermal analysis, and the thermal parameters of the glasses have been determined. Using glass stability criteria, the most stable ZMLN glass compositions have been identified.
