For a broad class of nonlinear analytic modulators we show how the effect of a channel with impulse response of the form [ a( t - c ) + bd ]/[ ( t - c )² + d² ], $d > 0$, is manifest in the demodulator output. One consequence, expressed canonically, is that for single sideband angle modulation, if $x( t )$ is the modulating signal and the modulated wave passes through a channel with impulse response d/( t² + d² ), the demodulator output is d/( t² + d² ) * x( t ).
