A flower-structured 1T metallic phase MoS 2 film was directly grown onto a FTO glass as a counter electrode for DSSCs, leading to an excellent energy conversion efficiency of 7.08%, which is 3 times larger than that of the DSSC with a 2H MoS 2 counter electrode.
