Multiphoton absorption by alkali-metal atoms above the ionization threshold. II. Further results on Cs and Rb ionization

We describe further a method we recently introduced for calculating cross sections for multiphoton ionization of alkali-metal atoms in the regime where the laser field can be treated as a perturbation. We present numerical results, some of which we compare with experimental data.
