Results of computer experiments are described for electromagnetic wave pulse trains propagating perpendicular to a static magnetic field in a collisional magnetoplasma governed by the Appleton-Hartree dispersion relation. For a rectangular incident pulse envelope the transmitted envelopes are obtained as functions of time for selected combinations of ωp/ωo, ωc/ωo, ν/ωo, propagation distance, and pulse width. Some results are compared with the case of longitudinal propagation for similar plasma parameters. Cross correlations of transmitted pulses with the incident pulses are also obtained.
