Magnetic cobalt and nickel ferrites with graphene nanocomposites (GCF & GNF) were tested for removal of Pb 2+ and Cd 2+ ions. A highest adsorption was achieved for Pb 2+ viz. 142.8 and 111.1 mg g −1 and for Cd 2+ 105.26 and 74.62 mg g −1 for GCF and GNF.
