Six-state coupled-channel-optical calculation for e-H scattering

The coupled integral equations of the momentum representation are solved for the n=1,2 and 3 channels in the e-H system at 54.42 eV. The coupled potential includes polarisation potentials for exciting higher channels from the n=1 and 2 channels. Differential cross sections are given for all channels together with angular correlation parameters for the decay of the 2p state. Different approximations are examined for including n=3 channels in calculations of scattering data for n=1 and 2.
