Exchange amplitudes have been obtained by carrying out Ochkur reduction on the modified Born model recently proposed by Junker (1975). In the case of 1s to 1s and 1s to 2s e-H exchange scattering at intermediate energies present results are found to be much better than the usual Ochkur results and are quite close to the Glauber and close-coupling results. Another advantage is that the present method is very economical on computer time.
