It is shown that the restrictions on the magnitudes of coupling constants at given masses in elementary particle interactions follow from general principles of quantum field theory without supplementary assumptions. The interaction of three boson fields with zero spin is considered and the coupling constant restrictions for these three fields are obtained. (C.E.S.)
