Cross sections for charge exchange between 4 He + and 3 He 2+ ions have been measured for energies from 0.1 to 20 keV. When allowance is made for the limited angular acceptance of the ion detector, there is agreement to within about 20% between this experiment and a two-state, semiclassical calculation by Dickinson and Hardie (1979).
