Magnetic organic conductors in which the π conduction electrons of donor molecules coexist with the localized magnetic moments of inorganic anions have been the focus of attention recently, and in particular the possibility that the magnetic order of the localized moments is mediated by the π conduction electrons. In the reported study it is demonstrated that the title compound exhibits an antiferromagnetic metal phase at low temperature and high pressure in which the Fe…Fe magnetic interaction is mediated by the π electrons of the BETS molecules.
