The influence of the random potential on the ground 1s state and first excited 2s, 2p states of Coulomb-like impurities in solid solutions is studied. It is shown that impurity bands are formed with a Gaussian density of states. Their width and the energy of the peak in the density of states are calculated by using the Coulomb Green function method.
