A mixture of C 9 , C 10 , and C 11 fatty acids (C 9_ll Synthetic Acids or Versatic 911, Shell Oil Ltd.) was mixed, on a weight for weight basis, with a non‐ionic surface active agent (Lissapol N, I.C.I. Ltd.) and applied as a spray to pasture infested with the fungus Pithomyces chartarum (Berk. & Curt.) M. B. Ellis. Rate of application was equivalent to 1 lb C 9‐11 Synthetic Acids/ac, in 10 or 100 gal water.
