In this paper, water‐dispersible polyurethanes based on isophorone diisocyanate and polytetramethylene glycol were synthesized, and their thermal degradation behavior under nitrogen and air was studied by thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. The influence of NCO/OH ratio and functional group concentration was discussed. The thermal decomposition kinetics under nonisothermal conditions was analyzed using Ozawa method.
