Responses of eggs and larvae of striped bass, Morone saxatilis, to a series of temperature-salinity combinations were measured as percent hatch, percent survival of larvae 24 hours after hatch, and larva length for the temperature range of 10–28 C and the salinity range of 0–10%c. Optimal temperature was 18 C, and optimal salinity varied, for the majority of these variables.
