The analysis and experimental investigation of an analogue output feedback controller for high‐order boost dc–dc converter is presented. The controller incorporates both damping and integral action for enhanced performance. A comparative study of the conventional PI controller and the proposed controller shows that the latter's suitability for the high‐order converter has a sound theoretical basis. Some experimental results are provided to illustrate the features of the controller in the presence of reference voltage and load changes.
