The essential oil of the leaves of Artemisia vulgaris L. var. indica Maxim, of Vietnamese origin has been analyzed by a combination of GC and GC/MS. Forty-six components have been identified, of which the major ones were found to be β-caryophyllene (24.1%) and β-cubebene (12.0%).
