Female and protonymph of Molothrognathus sibiriensis sp. nov. (Acari: Caligonellidae) are described from sandy soil in the Carbon Measurement Test Area in the Tyumen Oblast of Western Siberia. A closely related species, M. dilucidus Kuznetsov is redescribed based on the type material.
