Abstract β‐Pinene was polymerized with cationic initiators in reactions that were carried out to study the solvent, temperature, initiator, and monomer‐to‐solvent ratio. Polymers obtained under different conditions were characterized by intrinsic viscosity, softening point, and gel permeation chromatography.
