EPR spectra were measured for the fivecoordinate cobalt(II) complexes, [CoCldpe2]SnCl3 and [CoCldpe2]SnCl3·C6H5Cl, which had been determined by X-ray analyses to have a tetragonal pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal structures, respectively. The observed g-values showed a satisfactory agreement with the previously reported prediction.
