Syntheses of Metalcarbonyls, III. A Productive High‐Pressure Synthesis of Tetracarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl)niobium, (η5‐C5H5)Nb(CO)4 Tetracarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl)niobium (1), which could hitherto be prepared only in small amounts, can be synthesized with reproducible yields by reductive high‐pressure carbonylation of (η5‐C5H5)2NbCl2 (2) on a 5 – 20 g scale.
