Formulas are derived which express the depths of the center of the wave-front circle and its radius as simple algebraic functions of known geometric quantities. By virtue of their simplicity, these formulas are readily applicable to the migration of reflections. While not intended to replace wave-front charts in areas of steep dip, they have proved their usefulness in areas of moderate dip.
