Single crystals of Li 1.5 Na 0.5 Ge 4 O 9 are grown by the Czochralski method from stoichiometric melt. It has been found that this crystal shows ferroelectric activity in the a -direction of the crystal axis below T c =192 K. The spontaneous polarization and the coercive field at 185.5 K are 0.52 µC/cm 2 and 1.4 kV/cm, respectively. The dielectric constant of the a -axis shows an anomalous increase at T c . The Curie constant C is about 9.0 × 10 2 K above T c at 10 kHz.
