The answer to the question of life? Molecular diversity and complexity appear to promote self-organisation in the form of stable, low-energy, robust systems that could be the raw molecular material upon which selection pressures act. Such a commingling of self-organisation and selection pressures could point to a final theory of biology concerning the origination and promulgation of living organisms.
