This paper demonstrates the reverse Doppler effect associated with wave propagation in left-handed materials using a simple circuit configuration. Virtual source motion within a left-handed medium is electrically realized using sequential switching of transmission-line taps along a left-handed transmission line consisting of L-C unit cells.
