Urinary metabolites of hydralazine were studied using a paper chromatographic technic. The major urinary metabolite detected in both normal subjects and patients with systemic lupus erythematosus was 3‐methyltriazolo [3,4‐a] phthalazine. Differences were not detected between the two groups.
