We propose a one-body framework to describe the scattering of bulk spin waves at the edge of a quantum Hall ferromagnet. Scattering processes lead to a new collection of stationary modes that turn out to be localized at the edge. Comparison of these states with those obtained by numerical calculations firmly support our scheme. At filling factor 1, these edge textures generate the whole low-lying spectrum of spin excitations and, for actual values of the Zeeman term, answer for edge reconstruction when the magnetic field is increased.
