Theoretical analysis reveals classic weak-field gravitational phenomena in static nonrotating regimes without parameter tuning, indicating physical-vacuum models can replicate general relativity...
Recovering the Newtonian inverse-square interaction is not enough for a physical-vacuum theoryof gravity: the same weak field must also give a consistent response for clocks, light, andmoving matter. To address this problem, we construct the minimal static probe-response sectorneeded for that test on a fixed Minkowski background. The inherited Newtonian potential definesone dimensionless response strength, while two universal functions govern temporal responseand spatial phase-momentum response. Their weak-field coefficients are fixed before any observableis calculated, using an incremental complete-energy law and a first-order temporal-spatialreciprocity principle. The same response tensor is then applied to material and electromagneticprobes. From these theory-defined ingredients we derive the gravitational frequency shift, lightdeflection, Shapiro delay, and test-body perihelion advance, recovering all four leading weak-fieldresults without observable-specific fitting. The analysis is limited to static or quasistatic, weak, nonrotating sources; dynamic, rotating, strong-field, radiation, and comparable-mass sectors areleft for later work.
