An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) containing a low-molecular-weight side-chain crystalline acrylic copolymer particle as a warm-off component (WOC) possesses a “warm-off (WO)” function, in which the PSA loses its adhesion above the melting temperature of the crystalline unit. We have demonstrated that a PSA containing an acrylic copolymer grafted with a low-molecular-weight side-chain crystalline acrylic macromonomer as a WOC shows an excellent WO function because of sharp melting behavior of the side-chain unit.
