Radial particle transport and the damping of the m0ex0ex=0ex0ex1 diocotron mode from ``rotational pumping'' have been measured on a magnetized electron column. Rotational pumping is collisional dissipation of the axial compressions caused by E×B rotation of the column through asymmetric confining potentials. The observed transport rates are in close agreement with theory.
