A new strong acid, HC(SO2F)3, is reported; its acid strength lies between that of fluorosulfuric acid and nitric acid. According to X‐ray structure analysis of the K⊕ and Rb⊖ salts the CS3 skeleton is planar. The four halo compounds XC(SO2F)3.
