Stable narrowband red phosphor K 3 GaF 6 :Mn 4+ derived from hydrous K 2 GaF 5 (H 2 O) and K 2 MnF 6

We synthesize a new hydrous single crystal, K 2 GaF 5 (H 2 O), and induce it to convert into stable moisture-proof phosphor K 3 GaF 6 :Mn 4+ for warm WLED applications by rapidly adding K 2 MnF 6 into its co-precipitate reaction system.
