Now a day the wasted materials are highly interested in field of environment in the all over the world, due to their amount considerations and also to their extra ordinary properties. The eggshell could be studied at various fields of sciences such as: physics, chemistry and medicine. As part of physics theory, the eggshell powder can be used as an insulator material, due to their energy band gabs, which is equal or greater than (4.0 eV). In this work, eggshell was collected and powdered. X-ray florescence (XRF), Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy and UV Vis spectrometer were used as analytical techniques. XRF results were indicated that the pure powder is contained calcium (Ca), copper (Cu) and strontium (Sr). Energy band gab was calculated by using fitting curve and is found to be 4.82 eV for pure eggshell powder. The FTIR spectra showed 715, 877, 1454, 1649, 1791 and 2500 cm -1 peaks which were assigned to the calcium carbonate (rock), calcium phosphate, calcium nitrate, strontium nitrate and copper phosphate; respectively. From the results and observations; eggshell can be used as a good cleaner with safety in household wares.
