A novel blue phosphor CAZO:Bi 3+ and a color tunable phosphor CAZO:Bi 3+ ,Mn 4+ have been synthesized, characterized, and studied. The internal QY of CAZO:Bi 3+ ,Mn 4+ is as high as 89.1% due to the energy transfer efficiency from Bi 3+ to Mn 4+ .
