Forty-three compounds have been characterized by GC/MS and relative retention times in Helichrysum bracteiferum oil obtained by hydrodistillation of fresh leaves collected in Madagascar Island. Among them, 1, 8-cineole (18%), α-humulene (11.6%) and β-caryophyllene (9.6%) were the main components.
