The structure of polyethylene/ethylene‐propylene‐diene (PE/EPDM) and polypropylene/ethylene‐propylene‐diene (PP/EPDM) blends prepared in the whole concentration range of components by mixing in the melt was investigated. The dependence of the torque in mixing on the composition of the blend is more complicated than reported in the literature. The dependence of morphology on composition is similar for both types of blends. According to the X‐ray scattering measurement EPDM considerably reduces the crystallinity of both PE and PP in the blend.
