By integrating phase-field model and finite element calculations, we demonstrate that the additively manufactured 3-3 polymer-Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 composite can attain superb d33 and significantly outperform its 0–3, 1–3, and 2–2 counterparts in terms of hydrostatic figure of merit (HFOM), showing great potential in underwater acoustic applications.
