Cyclization of the p‐nitrophenyl esters of glycyl‐L‐leucyl‐glycine, and of glycyl‐L‐leucyl‐glycyl‐glycyl‐L‐leucyl‐glycine yields the same crystalline cyclohexapeptide. The intermediates were synthesized via cyanomethyl esters.
