Segmented multi-channel reflective imaging systems offer a pathway to increased throughput and compact packaging by enabling the combination of separate optical systems into one. In this work, we present the design evolution of a dual-channel reflective telescope concept inspired by the Ingenio/SEOSAT mission. Freeform optics were leveraged for aberration correction after using segmented mirrors to divide and rearrange the image field. The field segmentation concept was applied to a coaxial telescope, then to fully off-axis architectures that are obscuration-free. Diffraction-limited and near diffraction-limited systems were designed in both regimes.
