Grouping of Piglets and Peripheral Lymphocyte Blastogenesis

Three piglets aged 65 days were moved to another pen with other three piglets and the lymphocyte incorporation of 3H-thymidine was measured using pokeweed mitogen (PWM), phytohemagglutinin (PHA) or concanavalin A (Con A). The incorporation was significantly decreased on 1 to 7 days after moving, while such a decrease was not observed in four piglets aged 87.2±1.6 days moved to another pen.
