We show that the form of the parity violating electron–nucleus interactions permits construction of an additional contribution to the effective spin–spin coupling Hamiltonian in spin multiplet states of chiral molecules. The ratio of the difference of the zero field splittings of optical isomers to the unperturbed zero field splitting is estimated to be 105 as large as the optical frequency ratios which have previously been investigated.
