The reaction 12C(p,2pN)10A is considered in the plane wave impulse approximation assuming the pole mechanism of the nucleon knock-out from the short-range correlated NN pair. Spectroscopic factors for separation of two nucleons in definite spin S and isospin T states from the 12C nucleus are calculated within the translationally invariant shell model. The high momentum part of the internal wave function of the NN pair is replaced by the realistic wave function of the deuteron (ST = 10) or the singlet ¹S₀ deuteron (ST = 10). It is shown that the yield ratio for knocked-out $$pp$$ pairs to $$pn$$ pairs, pp / pp pn . -0em pn , is suppressed in this reaction by one order of magnitude due to the ratio of the spectroscopic factors and furthermore by the ratio of internal momentum distributions in these pairs.
