Proton and deuteron magnetic resonance have been studied at different temperatures in partially deuterated glycine and its addition compounds. The results quantitatively confirm the zwitter ion nature of glycine. The linewidth transitions in G 3 H 2 SO 4 and G 2 HNO 3 indicate the presence of two kinds of NH 3 groups, one reorienting fast and the other slow.
