In this report, the AWWA Orsanco Detergent Subcommittee brings together information to help in making an appraisal of the effects of the use of household synthetic detergents on water supplies and in water pollution control as it exists in the Ohio River Valley area under Orsanco jurisdiction, and to help planners in arriving at intelligent solutions to any detergent problems.
