Copolymerizations of 1.3‐dioxepane with isobutyl vinyl ether and of 1.3.6‐trioxocane with 2‐chloroethyl vinyl ether were carried out in methylene chloride using boron fluoride ethyl ether complex as a catalyst. NMR and methanolysis studies on the copolymers have shown that both monomer units are not randomly distributed in these copolymers but that these monomers form blocks of relatively long sequences.
